Some of you may remember me mentioning a lady in Australia who I was in contact with....WELL she is now my wife! We got married December 10 2011 at the Warrington reg office. It was a beautiful day.
The photo is Danielle and myself waiting to be executed and by the look on my face you would think I was telling the truth ..lol We were both a little nervous.
Unfortunately Danielle is now back in Melbourne;she went there a month ago because her brother in law is seriously ill with cancer. I chat to her every day on the phone and on skype. I've gained an beautiful wife, step daughter and three gorgeous grandchildren - they call me pops. I love them to bits. The little girl is 5 years old going on 50 and always has a piece to say when she sees me...lol love it.
GET READY OZ I'M COMING OVER!!! lol Yes i'm going over In September and will stay as long as they will let me. I'm travelling via Mauritius and staying with Danielle's family for a couple of days to break the journey...then on to Melbourne.
Danielle and I will travel back together again via Mauritius. I'm looking forward to it - I'm saving like mad at the moment.
okey dokey......that's it for now...back later
hope you are all well and happy

Next month a friend from Mebourne will be coming to stay with me. She is beautiful and has a great sense of humour and I am really looking forward to her visit. We have a lot of things in common but for one and that is FISH. I don't like it. She absolutely loves it and eats a lot of it and I mean a lot - i'm not saying it is affecting her but her eyes are very big and stary and I've never seen her from the waist down.
She eats shark, octopus, red snapper ( I thought this was a Chinese photographer) trevally ( I showed my ignorance by asking who the heck's Trevor Lee ) and much much more stuff that God dropped in the ocean rather than on land cause he wasn't keen on them either.
Being a kind hearted man I bought a couple of boxes of Birdseye cod whatevers in batter n breadcrumbs and a couple of extra large pollocks ( yes and just in case i got the spelling wrong she eats them too!) and put them in the freezer ready for her arrival. That evening I told her of my fine gesture and she wasn't impressed at all - not fresh fish, you see!
If you see a lone figure on the end of Blackpool pier, fishing,it could just be me.`
I'm sure we can come to some arrangement because she is a fine undertsanding lady but also a determined one as her last words on the subject suggests '' YOU WILL LEARN TO LIKE FISH,YOU POMMIE WIMP! ''
I just love a forceful woman!
PS. I've found out from a neighbour that just 30 miles up the road from me is a place where just about every kind of fish can be bought. The neighbour tells me it's a place where you can spend a very enjoyable day and the fish restaurant is second to none. Neighbours are sooo helpful!

If you remember,in some of my past blogs I have mentioned my best friend Jimmy from Liverpool. Well,I went to his house for my Christmas dinner. There were 12 people there ranging in age from 2 years to 85 years. It was a real family atmosphere with great gramdmas, grandads, grandmas, daughters, sons, cousins and friends. It was lovely. Jimmy and his wife Tracy put a fantastic meal on and everybody was happy...lots of laughter.
I took a few pics but there aren't the facilities to show all on here so I picked one that I love ...it's of Charlie which is one of Jimmy's grandchildren
love to you all
